Purchase information

 

1. General provisions

1.1   The parties to the contract are guided by the laws and other legal acts of the Republic of Estonia and what is agreed in the terms of use when regulating their relations.

2. Parties to the purchase-sale transaction

2.1 Seller: D.T.L. Consumer Products Eesti AS (registration code 10407984, location Masti 17, 11911 Tallinn, Harjumaa, phone nr 6398970, dtl@dtl.ee.

2.2 The buyer can be a natural person of at least 16 years of age and any legal person who, before executing and using the purchase and sale transaction, confirms that he has read the terms and conditions and agrees and undertakes to comply with them.

3. Product prices, availability and product information

3.1 The prices of all goods sold in the E-shop are in euros and include the VAT applicable in the Republic of Estonia at the time of the purchase-sale transaction.

  3.2 In the event that the Seller changes the prices of the goods after the Buyer has placed an order for the Goods, the Seller undertakes to sell the Goods to the Buyer at the price that was valid at the time the Buyer concluded the purchase-sale transaction.

If the price changed by the Seller is more favorable than the price valid at the time of conclusion of the purchase-sale transaction by the Buyer, the Buyer does not have the right to demand from the Seller compensation for the price difference or to sell the Goods at a more favorable price established after the conclusion of the purchase-sale transaction.

3.3 The seller has the right to make changes to the offered E-shop service at any time, without being obliged to notify the Service user in writing by e-mail.

3.4 The seller of the goods has the right to cancel the fulfillment of the order in the presence of a technical error, due to which the price of the product in the E-shop has been incorrect

3.5 When placing an order from the E-shop, the buyer must take into account that due to the technical characteristics of calculating the inventory of the goods, the inventory of the Goods reflects the actual situation with a time shift and may differ from the actual condition.

In the latter case, the purchase and sale transaction between the Seller and the Buyer will not be concluded with respect to such Goods, and the Seller is not responsible for any possible losses that may occur to the Buyer.

In such a situation, the Buyer does not have the right to demand from the Seller the execution of the purchase-sale transaction, nor compensation for possible losses.

3.6 In a situation where, immediately after the Buyer has paid for the Goods, it turns out that the Seller has run out of the Goods requested by the Buyer, the Buyer has the right to receive a refund for the missing product.

3.7 If the order is less than €30, a transport fee will be added to the product price, the amount of which can be seen by the Buyer when creating the order (Transport prices).

4. Forming the order, concluding a purchase-sale transaction

4.1 To order, the Buyer has the option to create an account at www.maitsemaailm.ee or place an order without a user account.

4.2 The buyer selects the product(s) suitable for him, the quantities and presses the "Add to cart" button. The box quantity with the product is informative, the Buyer chooses the quantity as needed.

4.3 If necessary, the order can be adjusted in the shopping cart by adding or removing products

4.4 After completing the order, the Buyer selects Delivery and payment.

Payment is made through the Payment Center, where you can choose the links of the following banks: Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Nordea, Danske, Krediidipank, Pocopay or credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard). After confirming the payment order, leave the Internet bank by pressing the "Back to merchant" button.

4.5 The Goods are reserved from the Seller's inventory to the Buyer only after payment for the Goods

4.6 The product photos displayed on the product information page of the goods are illustrative and may differ somewhat from the actual appearance of the goods.

4.7 The purchase-sale transaction is deemed concluded from the moment the Seller has received confirmation of full payment for the Goods or when the invoice has been paid and the amount stated on the invoice has been received in full to the Seller's bank account.

5. Transportation

5.1 Delivery is free for orders over €30.

5.2 Transport only within Estonia.

5.3 OSC courier - €4.80 when ordering home or work.

If you make a purchase before 15:00 on working days, the expected delivery time is the next working day. Purchases made on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are delivered to the customer on the following working day. The parcel will be delivered to the recipient, home or work, by 18:00 at the latest. The ordered products will be delivered to you by the OSC courier during the working day, between 09:00 and 18:00. If you are at work during the aforementioned times, we recommend choosing the delivery address accordingly.

5.4 SmartPost - parcel machines €3.30.

If you make a purchase before 15:00 on weekdays, the expected delivery time is within 1-2 working days. Purchases made on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are delivered to the customer on the following working day. When the package arrives at the parcel machine, an SMS with the door code will be sent to the mobile phone number specified in the order. The door code must be entered into the parcel machine, and then the locker will open where the parcel has been sent to you. It is possible to pick up the package within 7 working days of its arrival at the parcel machine.

The maximum weight of the package is 15 kg.

6. Cancellation of order

6.1 In the event that the delay in the delivery date for the delivery of the Goods to their destination or other related misunderstanding is due to the inaccuracy or incorrectness of the data provided by the Buyer when placing the order, the Seller is not responsible for such a delay, and the Buyer has no right to withdraw from the purchase and sale agreement.

6.2 In the event that the Buyer is not present at the time previously agreed with the supplier of the Goods, or in some other circumstances depending on the Buyer, delays or multiple deliveries occur, the Seller has the right to submit a separate invoice for Transport.

6.3 The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase and sale agreement in a situation where a purchase and sale transaction has been concluded between the Buyer and the Seller, but the delivery of the Goods to the destination specified by the Buyer is delayed beyond the delivery deadline specified in the Terms due to reasons attributable to the Seller.

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from such an agreement within 1 working day after learning from the Seller about the presence of the Goods and the reasons for this, by submitting a withdrawal statement to the Seller with the relevant content in a form that allows reproduction.

6.4 The Goods purchased by the Buyer are handed over to the Buyer by the representative of the transport company at the destination together with the Goods accompanying document.

7. Submitting a claim, return

Complaints related to goods or services purchased from the e-shop should be forwarded to info[at]maitsemaailm.ee. Claims must be submitted as soon as possible, no later than 1 working day after the date of receipt of the goods, later claims will not be considered

The seller is not responsible for product defects if:

Claims are submitted no later than 1 working day after receiving the goods.
If the goods have not been stored according to the information on the package.
The "best before" date of the product has passed while in the customer's possession.

The 14-day right of return does not apply to goods that are perishable or aging, and to items with sealed packaging that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging has been opened after delivery.

Return costs up to ten euros are borne by the Buyer, unless the wrong or defective product has been sent to the consumer.

If the customer is not at home, a repeat attempt is made to deliver the goods, after which the goods are returned to the warehouse.

If the goods have been returned to the warehouse, the order will be kept in the warehouse for 1 week, it is possible to pick up the order yourself or order a courier. If the parcel has not been delivered due to circumstances beyond the control of the Seller, the buyer pays for ordering a new courier service.

If the goods are not picked up after a week, the order will be cancelled, in which case the costs related to the handling of the goods will be deducted from the paid invoice.

8. Confidentiality of personal data

8.1 By placing an order, the buyer confirms his acceptance of the DTL Privacy Terms and thereby gives DTL the right to

for the processing and storage of personal data based on the privacy conditions. The customer's personal data is processed by D.T.L. Consumer Products Estonia AS.

9. Changing the terms, resolving disputes

9.1 The parties to the Terms and Conditions are responsible for each other for damage caused by the violation of the Terms and Conditions in the cases and to the extent stipulated in the legislation in force in the Republic of Estonia. The Seller is not responsible for the damage caused to the Buyer or for the delay in the delivery of the Goods if the damage or the delay in the delivery of the Goods is due to a circumstance that the Seller could not influence and the arrival of which the Seller did not foresee and could not foresee (force majeure).

9.2 Disputes between the Buyer and the Seller that arise during the conclusion and execution of the purchase and sale transaction shall be resolved by the parties through negotiations.

In case of failure to reach an agreement, the Buyer has the right to appeal to the Consumer Disputes Committee operating at the Consumer Protection Board in Estonia or to the court for the protection of his rights. In the case of going to court, the Buyer and the Seller have agreed upon the court of the Seller's location as an agreed jurisdiction.
